"Trust" is about life in a big city (NYC at Christmas), young marriage, and how business life comes into play. The start of this movie was a bit slow, but it picked up after a few minutes - but please don't expect any action elements. The plot revolves around young couples that want to make things work with their partner, but business trips, acquaintances, clients, friends and other temptations make a blossoming relationship difficult. Every young professional in a committed relationship will see themselves in some of the situations. I think this is an interesting movie that shows Victoria Justice in a role we may have seen before. But I was also hoping for more excitement in general and more depth in an otherwise predictable plot.

Trust is a rushed movie with alright acting, except the Irish man. He kept breaking his accent constantly and I couldn't hear a word he said. Honestly, I mainly turned on Trust because of Victoria Justice, Matthew Daddario, and Katherine McNamara. Their acting was great. I did enjoy the twists and turns the movie took. But in the end, I ended up being right. I don't think the sex was needed, or the art. It all felt a little too much. Some of the story dragged and bored me. Also, the whole thing with the senator confused me. For a second I thought Owen was seeing the senator and was gay? I don't know. Overall, it was okay.

....you need better taste in films.

There's an interesting idea behind this film but the execution is awful. The characters of Amy and Ansgar should have been recast. Not sure why they made Ansgar Irish. Either get an Irish actor or cast the character as British like the actor is!!!! He couldn't maintain his accent through the film. The actress playing Amy didn't play the part well; she was very two dimensional, and the story could have been more twisty but it was flat and flaccid.

My score of 3 is for the idea.

Hot actors aren't a justification to give it 10 stars or whatever happened to give it the average rating of almost 7/10. It was terrible on so many levels with rather average acting from most of the cast. And I know that not every production is meant to be a moral compass for the audience, but I won't ignore this awful normalization of cheating, harassment and toxicity. The story had potential to be something good and exciting, but it really wasn't worth watching; it turned out to be just bad

Once there is doubt ... once someone believes that the other person is not faithful to them anymore ... it is hard to walk that back. For better or worse, Trust is a perfect title for this movie. A movie that is flawed, that shows flaws in humans. Those in love, those who tease them - and the bystanders around them.

I had heard of the ... let's call it service the woman hires. I had not heard the conditions and the ethics behind it. Have to admit, it does make sense. It made less sense to see how this unravels towards the end. But it was kinda fun watching it. Do not expect too much in the titilating department by the way (or to be more specific in the nudtiy department). But if you are here for the story, that shouldn't bother you anyway.

Here's a snippet of how bad the writing of this movie is :

"Did anything happen in Paris?"

"No"

"With full honesty, all cards out on the table"

"No, I'm not gonna answer that question"

"Well would you please answer that question?"

There's a scene where this presumably attractive Irish dude who goes by the name Ansgar fondles Brooke's thighs WITHOUT her consent and she feels uncomfortable. The very next scene they are both conversing like nothing ever happened. Minimal efforts have been put into script writing and the direction. The performances by the actors were below average. Making matters worse was the background music which had no relation to the story nor was it remarkable. The music doesn't even stop for like 10 seconds throughout the movie!

Not to mention movie is flawed. Please avoid this at all costs. 2 stars for Victoria Justice. She looks stunning throughout the movie.

I was excited going into this movie with the great cast including Victoria Justice and Katherine McNamara but the movie fell flat. It was told in a unique way that made you think one thing but then later on it went back and gave you more insights to how that part of the story finished and then everything started coming together and made sense. The acting was good but the storyline wasn't that unique or interesting and there were no real thrills. It's an okay movie but could've done better.

This movie was terrible. The plotline and 'twists' were so unoriginal. The cast had close to no chemistry. I was originally attracted to this movie because of the cast mainly out of nostalgia but I was really disappointed.

It's the type of movie you'd leave in the background when you are busy with other activities.

I was watching this with a friend so, we had a really fun time judging the characters 😂😂. The story has a few twists though, which we didn't see coming and really enjoyed. Overall, a fun experience.

Why so much hate? It wasn't that bad. Believe me, I've seen so far worst.

This was a one time watch. A young couple, an act of infidelity and a test of trust, with an ok cast and storyline. But you trolls need to quit it with your over top ratings of 10s for films like this as if they were up for an academy award. You people really need to cease and desist from all the reviewing shenanigans. It's really doing the "real" viewing audience a true disservice. And it simply must stop. Everyone please pay no attention to those overrated reviews. They are simply misleading.

Confusing, slow, don't waste your time. Why is it so difficult to make good movies these days.

Not a great film but 7 stars because it was interesting enough to keep my attention and interest, and I didn't hate it. Glossy, pretty cast. Glossy, pretty setting. The "Irish" artist character kept forgetting he was Irish and spoke American off and on- very distracting, plus his character was creepy and pushy. This movie was a brain candy time killer- which I honestly can appreciate.

This could have been a good movie.

The 3 leads were so bad.

The out of time sequences were so amateur and jarring.

I saw the trailer for this movie, and decided that I wanted to watch this movie. It looked cheesy and bad so I knew what I was in for.

I don't think it's a great movie by any means but it was relaxing to watch. If you have odd humor like I do, you may find some of it funny. I think it's a bad-good movie worth a watch if the trailer interests you.

The scenes and setting of the movie are interesting enough.

The characters in the movie are pretty flat. I don't think they have much character development.

One of my favorite lines in the movie was some thing like: "he's cheating on me. He's sleeping with other people!!". I thought the clarification was funny. Anyways yes, this movie sucks but I like it too.

The person who did the music should be taken out back and put to rest. This is not even worthy of Lifetime. Ridiculously bad.

Marriages are not hard, but they are not easy either. It needs incredible trust. Trust in your partner more than yourself. Not everyone can do that. Some don't experience a test so great. For some this test can make or break, not just their marriage but their life itself! Very apt title for a well made movie! The movie is not just good because the cast is hot. It's because the story is honest! Kudos to the director!

What a twisty, Interesting ride in this movie! In New York where two married couple who face Trust issues but both refuse to say it out loud at first but eventually things will start to crumble in their world. Adding to that, the question that will keep crossing your mind did the wife cheat? Did the husband cheat? I'm really planning to watch the movie again because I really enjoyed it!

This is a pretty boring movie that justifies cheating on your partner. Seriously, the only people who will enjoy this film are those who cheated on their partners and want someone to make them feel better about it.

I hate leaving negative reviews on films, I really do. But, I feel like it's an act of humanity to make sure at least one person reads this review and doesn't waste their time trying to watch this.

I had to watch a light hearted chickflick after I got done with this depressive little bag of trash they call a film. Do. Not. Watch. It.

Even tho we have 3 great tv series actors, they were very amateur in this. The movie had potential it they ruined it.only the actor who plays the artist, acted well.
