Deepti is fragile innocent frail younger sister living with her brother and his indulgent wife . She lacks nothing in life . She meets Javed - a happy go lucky chatty talkative young lad . Its love at first sight for him. She is just friendly with him but does not thwart his advances. In the mean time she also meets a rich industrialist Shafi . He has his own emotional baggage .Slightly older than Deepti , he has lost both is wife and son to some freak gun accident . He had found out that she was cheating with his best friend in business . Though he maintains a distance from the first meeting , both grow close . Javed is aware of this and is unhappy with her and tells this to her repeatedly but she refuses to listen to him. He also goes to Shafi asking him to back off as its a mismatch . She keeps Javed at a distance always treating him only as a good friend . Deepti is unable to decide between Javed and him much to his chargin . Finally she decides to go to Shafi and tries to show her emotions explicitly . Though , receprocative initially , Shafi refuses later saying he is dead inside and cannot forget his first family . He realises that Deepti and Javed are better matched. Deepti is shocked but gives in finally realising that this relation has no future. One of the early movies of Deepti, she shows her tender feelings finely . Wears mostly sarees and salwars . Javed is initially play ful , then an obsessed lover boy and then confused and concerned about her changing feelings , finally as a mature understanding lover who takes her back after she comes disappointed and failed in her romance with Shafi. Shafi himself is perfect as an older man unable to understand his feelings towards Deepti and finally letting her go as he does not want to exploit her vulnerability . Shot abroad , it has some fine songs . Over all a nice movie with many Pak actors . Deepti seems to be the only Indian actor there .
