Appetites

This is one of those films that requires you to believe that the lead male and lead female characters are sexy and charismatic enough to get away with anything. Both Bret and Lauren pull that off in spades. They both look gorgeous in every scene they are in. Bret sounds and looks great as the guitar strumming singer. Somehow, whatever either of them do, you never stop rooting for them. You want them to win, to find true love, to succeed, just because they are so compellingly sexy. Very few films allow their most attractive actors to play their most depraved characters, but this one does. I think it is overall a great and unique ride. And, James Duvall playing a very thicc rando victim in the desert is a great bonus. Highly recommended.

I found this darkly humored, low-budget movie 🎥 about a gorgeous, cannibalistic girl named Daisy (Lauren Parkinson) and a psychopathic, tattoo hating murderer simply called "John Doe" (Bret Roberts) surprisingly interesting. It's not going to win any Oscars but there are definitely no boring parts in it. The camera work is good and the storyline flows fairly evenly. For horror film 🎞 lovers there's plenty of blood and violence tapered off by just enough tongue-in-cheek comedy to be enjoyable. The 6'11" Scott Barrows as Daisy's brother "Bubba" and Travis Eberhard as "Charlie" the midget motel 🏨 manager also carry their roles well. It's fun 🙂for a rainy🌧 afternoon or late night 🌙 watch.

This movie is original and entertaining, it has all the elements I need in a movie ... Sadistic, , Gory, Edgy. Sexual.... & The Acting is great !!

I recommend this movie for those that love these types of movies !! I loved it !!!

It has slasher elements, love the dark humor and the intensity! Good looking Cast ! It's a non stop ride with brutal violence! The story is totally original and pays homage to my favorite Texan cannibal!! The practical Fx are really good ... it's a low budget film that knows exactly what it is ,,, Daisy is totally worth the watch! With that being said watch it for what it is ! And enjoy !!!!

I dunno what y'all want, but i thought this was a Great little Movie! Bret Robert's KILLS IT in this Movie!

This movie was a thoroughly enjoyable one for me. What I liked most about it was that it broke away from the stereotypical psychopath slashing and hacking at horny teenagers in the middle of the woods, not that I don't enjoy that sort of thing. This story actually focuses on the point of view of the psychopaths themselves and why they do what they do, which I thought was a nice change of pace.

Overall I feel like this movie deserves some proper recognition. It doesn't carry the dark atmosphere of most horror movies but is still a fun well thought through movie if you are a fan of psycho themed horror films.
