Trent and Amber have a wonderful family and they are not only just trying to get by in life, but trying to teach their young kids the truth about life as a little person. For the first 4 seasons they renovated a house in Forsyth Georgia, in the fifth they moved into their new house. They have not altered the cabinets in the kitchen or furniture in the house. They believe that it teaches them how to adapt in the real world. They have the same problems that you and I have, plus dealing with the stares of uneducated people that have never seen little people. They do a great job and I enjoy their adventures. Thank you TLC
I really like this series. It has humor, real emotions, irony, etc. To me they are an average family who happen to be little people. They deal with things as they come along. They all have great personalities. Each one is unique but they blend well.
I don't get the hate on this family. It's a reality show but of course there's production influence. They do deal with some typical family/ kid issue that all families encounter. I happen to like the way Amber and Trent are to the point and don't sugar coat things with the kids. They're trying to foster a good work ethic. I can definitely relate. I hope they keep this show going.

This is an awesome show that really has taken on a relatable story. This series started off with what it is like as little people in an average sized world, but it's also about parenting, family bonds, and humility.
This is the only reality show my husband will watch with me and honestly one of my favorites. The way Trent and amber have dealt with Anna and Jonah's issues over the years has been admirable. Emma will always be a crowd (and family) family. They are humble and down to earth and overall it's a show you can watch again and again.
There are plenty of TLC shows that have human interest story lines but this family is absolutely a one of their bests!

Just another "what zaney antics will they get up to this week" "reality" family show.
Frankly, I believe all of these shows are exploitative. People who are only being shown because they are: small, fat, had multiple births etc. In the old days we had something similar. They were called "freak shows" and people would pay a penny to gawk. They were no less exploitative then, as the televised versions are today. Think that is harsh? What exactly are you tuning in to see? They are not on TV because they are talented. It's just little people partaking in buffoonery so that rubes on their couches can have a cheap laugh.
All of these shows double as ads for local businesses and attractions. "Today we are going to....", and its just an episode of them doing whatever wacky hijinks at that particular venue.
Nothing is organic or believable. They have no real talent or entertainment value. Its just "we're little/fat/septuplets/polygamous/grew up without technology" (take your pick, they are all the same show.)
Just wait till it changes gears, and the family falls apart like they all do, and it's doom and gloom episodes, where they will talk a divorce to death like all of the other shows do, just to milk it dry.
