I don't follow the male/female leads that much but I enjoy a good KDrama. When I was watching the 1st episode I noticed the male lead looked familiar and Yes he starred in My Dearest. In my opinion is one of the best in years. Although you will see the same gestures or acting from him but the character suits him perfectly. I love the pacing (slow yet you can listen to them talk - I recommend My Liberation Notes). The lines are no nonsense. Fun, witty, and with flavours. The camera work is peak too. The ending part absolutely blew me away and I finally gave in to the tears. You will have an idea of ending (that's the whole plot of the movie) but you won't guess the "how" it will end. Which in my opinion is how this wonderful piece excells. The acting on all their casts are on point. They behave just how they should be and no going off their characters for no reason (as most series do). You will be in for waves of emotion. A ceritified tearjerker. Don't sleep on this.

An unforgettable drama - truly the masterpiece of 2025!
Some scenes I simply can't forget - I keep rewatching them again and again.
If you're looking for genuine, deeply emotional, life-like romance - do not miss this one.
This story touched my heart in a way that very few dramas ever have. The emotional depth, the quiet intensity, the slow build of feelings - everything is handled with such care and maturity.
Namh Goong Min delivers a breathtaking performance as a broken, guarded man who slowly begins to feel again. His eyes, his silence, the way he walks and speaks - every moment is a masterclass in subtle acting. You don't just watch him - you feel with him.
The chemistry between the leads is natural and sincere. Every glance, every word, every pause - it all feels real. This drama doesn't shout - it whispers to your soul.
"Our Movie" is not about big gestures. It's about quiet transformation, healing, and learning to love again. A rare gem.

Yet another masterpiece of poignant and meaningful storytelling from South Korea.
You know what you're signing up for when you read the short synopsis. You will cry, and there are scenes that will break your heart, but what the writers manage to do so amazingly well is, in the midst of watching a woman we all come to love, die, manage to also gift us an uplifting story, not about death, but about life, grabbing hold of it, and living it well.
The performances of the two leads were phenomenal. Totally expected from Min Nam-koong, but I was blown away by Jeon Yo-been. I so hope her performance is rewarded. Special mention to Kwon Hae-hyo, who played Da-eum's dad. I think I cried during every scene he was in and their talk on the beach.... gulp... oh the tears.
This will definitely be deserving of a re-watch because the quality of the writing was that high and I know I'll pick up on amazing lines that I missed through the sobs.
One of the best dramas of 2025 for sure!

As someone who has watched Korean dramas for the past 10 years, i dare say this is one of the best dramas i have ever watched. Not the cliche, fluffy sort of drama, but something with depth and emotions. It's truly a masterpiece. The story is just so beautiful, and the cinematography is amazing. The cast is simply brilliant.
The story, well, it's not all butterflies and happy feelings like many Korean drama fans like, but something very different.
From the first episode, we get to see a very flawed characters who happen to be in pain, and life hasn't been fair to them yet it seems like the universe has other plans for them. Love is also just around the corner and fills this drama with emotions.
The cinematography is truly beautiful. The ost also matches the mood and the songs used make your heart flutter.
Definitely recommended to those who want to watch a high-quality beautiful Korean drama with a deep story.

This lovely, sweet, sensitive, and haunting drama, Our Movie, available to watch on Disney+ / Hulu with excellent English subtitles, reminds me in many ways of the classic romantic Korean dramas I first watched twenty+ years ago when I became a fan. Now over 1400 of them later I am still thrilled when I find a special gem like this one, that gives me the same feelings I experienced way back then when I watched unforgettable classics like Winter Sonata for the first time. Even the way Nam Goong Min, our leading man, is dressed in Our Movie reminds me of Bae Yong Joon in that drama. I have savored every moment of this drama and even marveled at how poetic the first kiss scene was! South Korea continues to make the very best television series in the world.
