Why all the bad reviews?

I've been passing by this movie for weeks and finally gave it a try after the trailer caught my eye. It's not the best movie I've ever seen but it made me laugh more than any other Netflix movie I've seen recently. I really enjoyed it and the actors bounced well off of each other.

Lighten Up, It's Funny

Had some definite laugh out loud moments.. obviously if you watched the previews you know it's not a deep, thought provoking movie.. it's a great comedy none the less for when you just want something light hearted and fun.

Cast did a great job all of them but despite everything the scenario and process is like some 14 years old guy wrote this down and it's disappointing for Netflix

It was fun chick flick

I thought the film was enjoyable, just from the trailer you know the whole story as very straightforward. So I actually recommend it when you want to have a relaxing Friday night with a nice bottle of wine not much brain required entertainment.

Better than expected!

I'm not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews, this isn't a life changing film and doesn't pretend to be. It is however a funny, easy-to-watch film. There is a lot of chemistry between Harper and Leo and the friends are funny. Would recommend for a funny, chilled out film with good music!

The Balearic government considered whether to take legal action against Netflix because of this film. According to them, Neflix took advantage of Ibiza's image by naming the film after the island but actually shooting it in Croatian locations. They also argued that this film not only perpetuates harmful stereotypes about Ibiza but it also clashes with the tourism-board attempts to subvert them.
