Vogue Turkey: Crossing Borders with Kerem Bürsin

Kerem Bürsin is much more than just a person with a clear philosophy of life, who impresses with his talent as an actor or his social initiatives. His love of sports and daily discipline make him a living example of willpower and a source of inspiration for millions of people.

About the source of inspiration is experienced by myself. It was inspired by Kerem's videos where he shows his sports skills that some sports equipment appeared in my house, and time was set aside for different sets of exercises in my daily schedule. Before Kerem, not a single video dedicated to sports, not a single person practicing them, did not even make the thought in my head to start doing something on my own.

"Sport is a period of time that I dedicate to my mind, my body, in short myself. It's a very valuable and important period of time where I can do self-therapy." For Kerem, sport is not so much a way to keep fit and healthy as it is a therapeutic session to get away from everyday life, to immerse himself in himself, his thoughts, his problems and to focus solely on his inner world. Sport is not a necessity for him, but a need, an important component of a full life.
