A basic principle in film making is "Show, do not tell". This flick is a recital with some images added to it. A perfect example of how to not tell and direct a film. Nothing wrong with the acting. Unfortunately, it happens mostly behind a microphone. Quite likely, this works written and then read. And a recital. But this is a plain recital with some images added to it.

The plot-line does not improve the storytelling. A horrible crime taking place in a petty Finnish town. Somewhat sorry, how much talent in directing, acting and all were wasted doing this.

Good basic for storytelling, then everything falls apart by production.
