This horror micro-short film is a variation of the classic story The Boy Who Cried Wolf. In the original tale, a young shepherd boy, bored with his duties, repeatedly shouts "Wolf! Wolf!" even though there's no danger, causing panic among the villagers. Then, one day, a real wolf appears. The boy cries out for help-but this time, no one believes him. The moral of the story is clear: if you lie repeatedly, people won't believe you when you're telling the truth.
As the title of the short film suggests, this modern retelling is built around April Fools' Day, and instead of a wolf, there's a serial killer on the loose. It's a pretty neat piece of work for a 3-minute film, and I especially appreciated that we actually get to see the face of the killer and hear him speak-something that doesn't usually happen in short films like this.
