Zombies vs Joe Alien otherwise known as Alien vs Zombies is comedy above all else. Though it does contain adult humor this is a very light hearted affair.

Telling the story of Joe, an alien who comes to earth on holiday during the zombie apocalypse and using his time travel powers seeks to save the world.

It's cheesy, it looks like a Scyfy original but it has a real charm about it and some of the humor is oddly on point.

It's one of those films that should have been terrible but by hook or by crook it actually came out half way decent.

The cover is a lie, the zombies don't look anywhere near that good, Joe doesn't look like that (No veins, no glowing eyes, no face paint) and it's far lighter than the intense cover suggests.

Go in with no expectations and you might find a laugh but do not watch on the hopes of it being a zombie movie because it truly isn't.

But in a good goofy way. Let me start by saying the acting is not good, but my husband and I actually enjoyed this movie. An Alien that loves Earth finally gets his chance to come here for his version of Spring Break and finds out that he's right in the middle of the Zombie Apocalypse (bummer) The lead actor plays this fish out of water role quite well in spite of the dialogue and actually seems to be having fun with role. But all in all, it was good time. We chuckled a bit through it and when it ended, my husband and I both had come to the same conclusion. "It's cute"

I stumbled on this movie one night. It has terrible acting, bad script, bad special effects.

But for some reason, I enjoyed it. It just is kind of a throwback to the 80s and 90s bad B science fiction movies.

If you want some mindless, silly entertainment, this is a good movie for you!

I feel like many people are knocking the film because they want some kind of serious movie and in no way this is what it was meant to be.
