Annabelle Jones (Anna) gets injured and loses part of her memory while trying to protect Simon Smith from his abusive father, then she is sent abroad for treatment. Simon, after losing his mother, is taken in by his grandfather, renamed Noah Miller, and vows to find Anna someday. Years later, Noah, now the head of Miller family business, meets Annabelle again through an arranged marriage, however Annabelle no longer remembers their shared past, and their early marriage is filled with misunderstanding. Until Annabelle discovers her mom's bracelet, which triggers parts of her memory and Noah also realizes Annabelle is the girl who protected him.
