The Fox Hollow Murders: Playground of a Serial Killer

Meaning why are they meaningfully discussing an alt offender named by the actual killer, when said killer was obviously attempting to obfuscate and retain his reputation by stating that, rather than his impending arrest, it was his failing business that was the impetus of his demise - and this documentary is problematic when you understand it's TWO independent documentaries conflated into one 4 episode show - and the woman who is producing the second doc, pretends she just learned about certain developments when we know chronologically she had prior knowledge - we KNOW that - which means this is 'produced' for effect - sadly that's unacceptable unless this is entertainment and NOT a 'true crime documentary'

I for one am disappointed but sadly not surprised.

Please don't get me wrong, the alt suspect, definitely was an accessory however that doesn't assuage or negate any culpability from the lead suspect -

I love true-crime dramas and documentaries but this one was so boring, I just couldn't watch more than one episode. I had seen this story years ago on some other show and found it really fascinating. So I was anxious to watch this. But I could see fairly quickly that this was not for me. So little information about what actually happened. Just law enforcement and prosecutors rehashing what they did and, more importantly, didn't do at the time. I found myself fighting to stay awake. So boring!

I tried to watch the second episode but was creeped out by the weird dude that now owns the house. Why would you give him the attention he is so desperately seeking?

This series is a total waste of time. It starts off reasonably well but then it drags on and on and on. It is painfully slow and leads nowhere. I do not see the point of this series ever being made. This could've been a two hour documentary at the most. It is so slow that it seems like it is moving in real time. It provides no useful or new information as to the motive behind the killings and no explanation for all of the open questions regarding the case. It's saving grace that it does provide a view of how discriminated against the gay community was in Indianapolis those days and how apparently, the local authorities did not follow up on many open questions and loose ends. Don't waste your time on this series.

Probably the worst true crime series that I have seen in quite a while.

There is absolutely no reason for this thing to run on for four episodes. It is tedious, with minimal information.

I am surprised that ABC News would produce this, or at least provide a home.

Most excruciating is the "screen time" they give to the Goodyear guy. He is obviously, completely unhinged. Yet they allow him to drone on for quite a while.

This series covers ANOTHER documentary film crew, as a large source of the material presented. That is just lame.

It is clear that the local authorities botched the original investigation, but none of those people agree to be interviewed. So we are left with secondhand material.

This is a true crime series to skip. Just Google "Fox Hollow Farm," and save yourself a few hours.

Bounces from wall to wall, from hearsay to hearsay, from one version of the truth to another with the main subject witness / suspect being obviously mentally compromised who at times seems to think it's all a big joke, at times lies and at times basically adds nothing to further the investigation or the story.

By the time you get to episode 4 you realise you've been sold a dud and that it's all probably just a show that's put on for television and has very little to do with reality.

Even if you have time to waste you'd probably be better off reading about this online instead of having to sit through some of the most non credible, semi scripted doco footage ever brought to screen.
