I watched episode one so I am basing my review on that.
Imagine deciding to do a sanitized Sunday morning cartoon version of "Fairly Odd Parents" with out understanding the jokes, what made them funny and then being told by your legal department you were going to get sued if you did not make some MAJOR changes.
So you take the Fairies away too and replace them with 2 2000 year old singing undead Squirrels (or Squerls as this show insists on calling them) who personally knew Jesus ( or some such bunk)
Take away Timmy's hat and call him Michael because this is a Christian show.
Then do some jokes about airport security, such as someone trying to smuggle a Panda out of Israel in a suit case but being arrested for a shampoo bottle in the same case... and then the Squirrels do another song, in a cute flash back to when they were actually alive.
Also the caring Christian parents don't seem to notice their 6th grade child being stalked by a creepy "man in black" who keeps photographing him and his back pack full of zombie squirrels.
Yes it really is that bad, and looks all set to get worse.
But no swearing, nothing risque or funny, no disrespecting parents (just airport security) and a mention of God, or Jesus, or a bible story every few seconds (but not of the really nasty bible stories or embarrassing bible stories, or the ones most Christians wish were not their "holy Book" at all because they involve ahem ahem you know what. Just the nice clean wholesome cleaned up ones).
5 year olds might like it, but on the whole they will probably prefer Bluey, at least that is funny.
