This is Kyle Gallner and Sosie Bacon's second collaboration. They became fast friends after co-starring in Smile (2022) and planned on working together in another film. They mentioned in a 2022 interview on the podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum that they were trying to do a buddy comedy and were looking for a writer. That project hasn't happened yet, but two years later they worked together again in 'Cotton Fever'.

Daniel Blake Schwartz's feature directorial debut. It was based on his short film Cotton Fever (2022).

Filmed in Chelsea, Massachusetts between September and October 2024.
