The testimony presented by Eunice Paiva in this documentary is also present in the book written by her son Marcelo Rubens Paiva and it was later adapted to the screen in the film Ainda Estou Aqui (2024). The film received three Oscar nominations, and became the very first Brazilian film to win an Oscar.
Due to the huge success of Ainda Estou Aqui (2024), the short documentary got a remastered version in 2025.
