Loot Kaand

Like most other series, this one also starts with a very slow boring and confused beginning. This is a very stupid attempt by the directors to create an undue confusion and juggling between the gflash back and the present day story. Once the series catches momentum it becomes interesting. Editing is poor like most other series. Story is strong and good. Acting by Tanya Manaktala and Sahil Mehta is excellent as they look real siblings. Direction is very good. All characters look real and the actors have acted very well. The initial characterisation of lead actors could be better to generate interest among viewers. Gyanendra Tripathi is good as now he is getting characterised as a middle class semi-urban man in almost every series he acts in.

The plot and the thriller of the show is amazing. There are situations where you think the protaganist are NOW caught, but the clever way theu come out of the situation is so beautifully written!

It is a very surprising package... Very well written thriller, some really good surprises and every character has performed so well, but in the show, I got very attached to Soni, the little child!... That was such a great surprise and the emotional quotient, bravery and the cleverness that the child got was mind blowing in the thriller...WATCH IT FOR THE LITTLE CHILD! The child will not at all disappoint you!

The brother and sister duo were perfect in orchestrating the whole show!.... MUST WATCH and I hope season 2 comes in soon!

Loot Kand is high on intrigue, but not desperate to tell the story in a great hurry. In fact, it does pleasing character introduction and takes its time to set up the story. By the time you realise that the protagonists are planning an unconventional heist, you have subconsciously entered the universe of the series and the rest is about experiencing their journeys like a fly on the wall.

With every next episode, the thrill and action increases, fresh characters pop in with a few getting bumped off as well. The story gets darker and darker till the cornered protagonists find their way out of this sinister maze leading to a satisfying climax.

Performances are excellent. Saahil Mehta steals your heart with his lovable rogue boy act, Tanya Maniktala grows upon you as the story progresses and Gyanendra Tripathi proves to be the joker of the pack with his controlled, poised enigmatic charm. Saad Bilgrami and Ronjini Chakroborty also stand out, each characters looking rooted to the universe they belong to.

The story and screenplay despite seemingly being a regular heist drama, elevates itself due to its uniqueness. The 1995 Purulia Arms Drop incident blends seamlessly with the bank heist., creating thrill, suspense and chaos in equal measure. Ruchir Arun's direction is dynamic and fluid giving the series its much required pace and bingeworthyness. Cinematography, costumes, productional values are all pretty much appropriate - lending the show the realism it needs. Finally, a top-notch effort from Amazon MX player, a far cry from their usual teenage dramas and love stories.

Loot Kand is a must-watch for thriller enthusiasts who enjoy high-stakes crime dramas. I just finished watching this series, and I must say, it's an absolute must-watch! The storytelling is engaging, and the entire cast delivers outstanding performances.

The child actress, Soni, steals the show with her impressive acting chops. The lead actor and actress also shine in their roles, bringing depth and nuance to the story.

What's truly remarkable is the attention to detail in the casting - even the actor with a brief scene at the bank's cash counter makes a lasting impression. His look was awesome, I like that 😄I recognized him from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and his talent is undeniable. I hope he will get some bigger roles.

What sets this series apart is its authentic storytelling, devoid of excessive abuse or fake acting. The performances feel genuine, making for a thoroughly enjoyable watch.
