With a taut budget and a ton of passion debut film maker Kyle James Patrick presents a cynical piece of theatre for the millennial generation. Themes of hope, depression and societal detachment pulsate from this tense drama that stretches an intriguing situation into an epic dissection of human interaction. Topics such as suicide, gender and class are all masterfully negotiated via a witty and energetic script. A must watch for aspiring film makers wanting to make the most of their subjects, and a steering debut from a soon to be star writer director. Credit too must go to actors Della Haddock and Camden Filtness for their mesmerising performances that hold the viewers attention through an emotional tour-de-force for the duration of the film.
