A talented cast that gives life to a common story. There is many moving parts within different families, crime lords and police investigations but the heart of the show is the forbidden love story of Mahir and Canfeza. Su Burcu Yazgi might be young but she is a dynamite performer as she is beautiful, a perfect partner for the super talented veteran actor that is Burak Deniz. Dare I say it his best partner. Especially in drama scenes. Also for this series to work you have to believe in the love story and the chemistry is so apparent that you actually do. An incredible harmony achieved in a short amount of time.

Super entertaining drama set in modern Turkey featuring Canfeza and Mahir. Beautiful scenery, intrigue and twists in a fast paced romance between a police officer and the daughter of a local crook. Each eposide keeps you wondering if the next mafia boss will successfully kidnap the heroine of the story and if Mahir will save the day once more. It is interesting to see how the culture clash between the generations plays a big part in the story. I started watching this series purely for Su Burcu Yazgi. She was my favorite in her former series Kardeslerim and I decided to check on her new project and wow I was not disappointed. This girl might be young but she is someone that enchants you on screen with her beauty and acting. Her partner Burak Deniz is phenomenal as well. His career speaks for itself but I love him as Mahir the best now. The love story of Canfeza and Mahir is at the center of the plot and carries the show so if you like romance drama and comedy this series is for you. Also I love the strong presence of the Yilmaz and Kilimci families. Even the villains are funny with redeeming qualities.

All in all this show has great relaxing vibe with a nice home warmth that transmits from the screen. I hope the series lasts a long time. We need more series like this with healthy couples like Mahir and canfeza that laugh love fight but remain loyal. 💞
