The Fury in the Jury

Personally i like this episode. It's something different from the normal episodic structure and i think, while unlikely in the real world, it's very funny to see bones on a jury and how other people react to her brand of rationality, and how that led her to unwittingly let a killer go.

I don't really understand the point of the cam stolen identity plot now that we finally got an answer, i'd forgotten how it ended, so that takes a point off for me using andrew's ranking system.

Unrelated to the episode but i've only ever gotten partway through season ten before either watching something else or starting over, so the podcast might be the reason i actually finish the show! Love the pod and all of yall!

I rather like this one. Brennan on a Jury would be hell on earth. She's lucky to have stayed in the jury box. She knows how the legal system works and what courtroom decorum is like, so to start talking during a summation is not something an informed, intelligent person would do. But there is a great investigation of the soccer player accused of murder when a prime witness dies. He is on the table at the Jeffersonian so two forces miss each other. In an interesting case a significant discovery is made involving Cam's identity theft. One question: If all the credit cards and bank accounts are frozen, how can this person keep on purchasing things?

This episode of bones just displays the extreme lack of personal growth that encompasses Temperance. Her being an arrogant know-it-all even to the judge shows how little she actually knows. It's not being smart if she's still acting like an intelligent donkey behind at her overgrown age. It was extremely clear that the case that Booth was working on was connected to the trial and if she's so logical and rational than the only logical conclusion would be that he was investigating a dead witness for the trial and process of elimination would have taken care of the rest. But that hyper rational logic that she knows does not apply to every situation as she has been shown numerous times still gets the best of her and prevents her from seeing the big picture that is riddled with facts and evidence and it doesn't help that she is working on the case after she is the reason the murderer is free. Terrible episode so save yourself the frustration and skip it.
