Not typically my type of movie, as you can see, but my wife happened to be watching it, and I got hooked. I am not opposed to Lifetime movies, as a matter of fact, it is quite the opposite. I love the over-the-top cheesiness of them, but that is where Forever was different.

The actual title of the film was Terry McMillan presents: Forever. Terry McMillan is an author who wrote many books, most notably Waiting to Exhale which was adapted into a major motion picture. That is why I was shocked it was direct to Lifetime.

I missed the first part of the movie but was able to catch up pretty quickly. What a roller coaster it ended up being. All of the feels, all of the emotions, joy, happiness, some gut punches it is all here. I highly recommend giving Forever a watch... just have some tissues on hand.

I am thrilled that Terry McMillan teamed with Lifetime to bring the film adaptations of her books to the Lifetime network. I have read and enjoyed her books for decades. I have watched all of her work that was adapted to the big screen. Ms McMillan is one of my favorite authors.

This movie tugged on all my emotions. I was laughing hysterically one minute and crying the next.

Taye Diggs and Meghan Good give exceptional performances. The supporting cast is also excellent. Ms Good's acting skills just keep getting better each time I see her work.

This is an engaging movie about love, family and tragedy.

My wife and I are fans of both leading characters (Good & Diggs) and were surprised to see them in a movie as leads, because they're typically supporting cast.

We decided on it for our movie night and what a treat!

This movie takes you on an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. It is very-very soothing, then it will make you, laugh, cry and then smile again.

The content is very relatable and every mother, father, sister, brother or child will find a part if this movie they've personally experienced.

When this movie ended, I was compelled to call my daughter, hug my wife, and call my mother.
