Long Way Home

I came home today after a rather shocking assault on a subway, I was so depressed. I have to say that this show completely healed my heart and restored my faith and people's love for each other. Too often we forget the best things in life, like Mother Nature and the laugh with an old friend. The best things in life are still the best things in life. Thank you for making the show and helping me heal after a hard day. There's still goodness and beauty in the world. May I also add, I'm so glad that there are some rich people who actually know how to spend all that money! Hope there's another season.

I've enjoyed the previous series. This one was also inspiring. I motorcycle tour and, like observed in the series, find being torn about leaving family, but can't imagine missing the experiences I have. This installment captures the essence of being with friends, touring, meeting people, and experiencing new things. That's at the heart of the experience. These shows inspire you to appreciate family, friends, making friends from strangers, taking the opportunity to live, and riding my motorcycles. I like there riding and travel was more relaxed. They visited and showed areas I'd not seen, or in the perspective they presented. Well done!

It's very touristy, highly planified and not very adventurous and surprising, but people: it's Europe!! It is not so easy to find the middle of nowhere, remote locations, places where there is no network, petrol, food, electricity, people.

So, it cannot be like Africa or South America. Scandinavia, The Alps and the ex USSR countries have some rare dangers (bears, wolves and avalanches), but that's all.

Those who are disappointed were expecting too much.

They tried to make the trip more adventurous by using old bikes, unfortunately they are too reliable.

Would've given it a 10 because I'm a fan of all past seasons, and loved this one too, but I just finished it and feels like I only watched the trailer, where's the rest! 😩😩 So much time is wasted on the intro. Apple really screwed it with the lenght of the episodes, this is not a sitcom! It's the only travel show I like and they make it like it's a youtube video, have some respect for all the production thats goes into it, which was also so short this time! I loved seeing how they prepared for trips, but it's over now 😓. Thankfully, Ewan and Charlie are as fun as always and I'm glad the did it again.

The ferry they take and they arrive on is not the same one - how can you do an edit like that? Too many fast cuts and not enough insights. I've travelled the same roads by motorbike as well and there is sooooo much to explore and it seems the guys just skip 80% of the interesting locations :(

I've been a big fan of Long Way series and Long Way Round even inspired me to get my motorcycle license. Probably they should just release it on YouTube with more content?

Really looking forward to the next episodes, but so far the first 5 episodes are just too fast. Svalbard was cool though. Hope to travel there as well one time.
