Le beau rôle, a film by Victor Rodenbach about the tumult of the artist's life. Under the glitter present or coveted, joys, sorrows, doubts of the creator to the actor. Vimala Pons and William Lebghil give this work a light and offbeat atmosphere, even if the characters have shades that go from anger to youthful sweetness. Everything is both serious to turn to futility. It is difficult to feed and live dreams. But the task, however difficult it may be, deserves fights, rivalries, and also compromise... Each of the two protagonists wants to believe in his star, this inevitably involves electricity in the couple. Technically speaking, the indoor scenes but also outdoor sometimes give me the impression of resembling a TV movie, of the series. This is not a reproach, just a perception of shooting, a more grounded angle in reality. In fact, I recommend this film which I call an adventure.
