The Assamese film industry experienced a revival with the release of *Mission China* in 2017. Since then, we have seen a steady flow of hits, with one or two standout films emerging each year. Typically, when friends asked me about a new release, my response was often along the lines of, "It's good for an Assamese film." However, with the release of Bidurbhai, my perspective has changed. This film transcends regional boundaries and is simply very good, without any need for qualifiers. It picks up seamlessly where the web series left off, continuing the narrative with flair and ensuring that viewers are thoroughly entertained.

One of the film's strengths is its ability to balance humor with engaging storytelling. The comedic moments are plentiful and well-timed, providing a delightful experience for the audience. The characters are well-developed, and the plot keeps you hooked from start to finish.

Keep an eye on SUV, a name to remember in Assamese cinema.

I watched it today. A 10/10 film. Congratulations and thanks to all the casts of the movie for giving us such a superb film. It seems that good days of Assamese movie industry has already come. We need some more such films. Really happy to watch such a fantastic movie. I wish good luck to the whole movie team and also wish them national recognition with awards as they deserve it. (want to add something more- yesterday I read some reviews posted on some SM platforms. Most of them were very good but a few people rated the film 1/10 with some foul language, specially about the rape scene. To them, I want to say that You people either don't understand Assamese or you just lack the basic understanding. RIP)

Need more this type of assamese movie. Acting ultimate story heavy. Good combination. Related to all of us common man. I am proud of the story line and cinematography. Al are balanced. They took some social issues which aren't shown in maximum movies. They make us happy now, after some time sad when viewing the movie. Shows how people struggle for living. How leaders cheat small people for the work.

Really a good good good in everything. Ending is also hilarious. Many good message is given with help of comedy dialogs. It's a mix of comedy, sad, suspense etc. Thanks to suv and his team for the great movie.

It's your average overtly hyped mediocre Assamese film ladened with foul mouthed language that gets churned out every once in a fortnight. It will definitely pander to the wider Assamese nationalist audience, but not to actual cine-philes like myself. The only area that the film excels at is its exceptional music composition that dwarfs anything that has come out of the Assamese movie industry in the recent years. I concur the director has an above average music taste as far as Assamese movie directors are concerned. The subtle undertones in this movie are a bit problematic since they try to justify arson, rather unknowingly, so I will cut it some slack. My mother loved this movie, so i was bound to give it an 8 atleast 😅
