Dillon, the dog that plays Zeus, is the nephew of Deisel who was the star of Hudson & Rex (2019) before he past away.

All of the filming locations are listed in Canada, but several of the establishing city flyover shots featuring a downtown cityscape, including the opening, are clearly Cleveland, Ohio. The opening shot of the movie is a view from the south, but it's most obvious from the second downtown shot from the west - the unusual curved building in the foreground is the U.S. Federal Courthouse, and you can clearly see the Terminal Tower and the Key Bank building (if you pause it, you can see the actual key logo) among the other skyscrapers, and Lake Erie is to the viewer's left. You can also see the edge of Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians/Guardians, in the far distance.
