To be honest, I have enjoyed this show so much, it is funny and fun to watch, the only complained I have is that one of the characters screams a lot, although i have gotten used to it, I wish there is a season 2 in the making. The story for me is nice, and there is enough source material for a season 2, The Light novel is complete and I do not really know about the manga but I think they are still adapting the manga, I really recommend this anime for someone who is looking for a rom-com style anime, and if you can get by the shouting in the anime, I think you will enjoy this show!
Looking for a season 2.
Looking for a season 2.
I have to be honest with you:when I First watched this show,I wasnt expecting much. One day I Just opened crunchyroll, booking for something to Watch and I came across this romance.
First episodes,It was good, nothing really special to be honest.
Starting from episode 4/5,when Himari(blonde girl) really become an important character, the show started to get Better. And I really mean It! Every single episode was Better then the previus One,the characters are all really good, there Is a perfect combo between the romance and the comedy.
The last episode of the season was absolutly perfect, the voice actors did a perfect job and the finale leave open space for the future!
I really hope more season Will be announced in the future. Absolutly recomended!

So (production company, studio) please don't make us sad and just make season 2, please make season 2 as soon as possible. This is a superhit anime bro, and I really hope production company and studio announce season 2 very soon, I mean under 10-15 days, please don't break our hearts(studio). We will be waiting for season 2 and also for announcement and trailers, so at the end I would like to say, just make season 2!!!. Okay bye then, and don't forget we are waiting for season 2.
This is the best romance anime in 2025. If youre not watched it yet, then just goo and watch!!!, then come and tell that I'm telling the truth. It's soo good that we need season 2!!! Atleast under 9-10 months. Production units and the studio, please announce the season 2!!, and please don't break our hearts like other studios and animes where they don't continue the anime and just abandone it by not releasing season 2. Please announce season 2 please, even if possible then before the end of this month(March) I know it seems impossible, but just try to understand the feeling of mine and other fans. Im not going to read light novel of it before season 2 because I know season 2 will be released. I have 99% hope. Soo just tell me can I trust you, dear studio?
"I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class" - A Perfect Blend of Romance, Comedy, and Drama (10/10)
"I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class" is hands down one of the most enjoyable romantic comedies in recent anime history. From its unique premise to its well-developed characters, this anime delivers an exceptional viewing experience that keeps you engaged from start to finish.
Engaging and Unique Storyline
The story revolves around Saito Hojo and Akane Sakuramori, two high school students who absolutely despise each other but are forced into marriage by their grandparents. At first, the premise might seem like just another enemies-to-lovers cliché, but I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class takes it to the next level. The way their relationship progresses feels organic, blending humor, drama, and heartwarming moments perfectly.
Unlike many romance anime where the transition from hate to love feels rushed or forced, this series does an excellent job of pacing the character development. The tension between Saito and Akane is not only entertaining but also believable. Their constant bickering, awkward moments, and slow realization of their true feelings make the show incredibly captivating.
Outstanding Characters with Realistic Growth
One of the biggest strengths of this anime is its characters. Saito Hojo is a disciplined and intelligent young man, but he's also prideful and struggles with his emotions. Akane Sakuramori, on the other hand, is fiery, independent, and refuses to be controlled by anyone. Their clashing personalities lead to hilarious yet meaningful interactions, making every episode a joy to watch.
As the series progresses, we see genuine growth in both characters. Saito learns to be more open-minded and understanding, while Akane starts to appreciate Saito's hidden kindness. Their chemistry is off the charts, and every moment they share, whether it's comedic or emotional, feels incredibly rewarding.
The side characters also add depth to the story. Himari Ishikura, Akane's childhood friend who secretly has feelings for Saito, brings an interesting love triangle dynamic. The way the series handles this subplot is refreshing, as it doesn't rely on unnecessary melodrama but instead adds to the emotional depth of the story.
Top-Tier Animation and Soundtrack
Visually, I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class is absolutely stunning. The character designs are detailed and expressive, perfectly capturing their emotions in every scene. Akane, in particular, stands out with her elegant yet fiery appearance, making her one of the most visually striking heroines in recent anime.
The background art and animation fluidity are top-notch, adding to the immersion of the story. The way facial expressions and body language are animated makes every interaction feel more natural and impactful.
The soundtrack is another highlight of the series. The opening theme is catchy and perfectly sets the tone for the anime, while the background music enhances both comedic and emotional moments. The voice acting is phenomenal, with Hinaki Yano (Akane) and Shogo Sakata (Saito) delivering outstanding performances that bring their characters to life.
Perfect Balance of Comedy, Romance, and Drama
What truly makes this anime a 10/10 is its ability to balance different genres so seamlessly. The comedy is genuinely hilarious, with sharp dialogue and perfectly timed humor. Unlike many rom-coms that rely on repetitive gags, the humor here feels fresh and well-integrated into the story.
At the same time, the romance is incredibly well-developed. The gradual shift from hatred to mutual understanding and affection is handled with such finesse that it feels completely natural. The emotional moments hit hard, making you root for the characters and their evolving relationship.
Final Verdict: A Must-Watch Masterpiece
I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class is an absolute must-watch for any fan of romance anime. It takes a well-loved trope and executes it to perfection, delivering a story that is both hilarious and deeply emotional. With its lovable characters, stunning animation, and perfectly crafted balance of comedy and romance, this anime is easily a 10/10.
Whether you're a fan of romantic comedies, drama, or just great storytelling, this series is one you don't want to miss.
