Leprechaun: The Beginning

This movie is so worse lmao. My expectations were high and I was disappointed. First of all, the leprechauns design suck so bad and it's horrible. Is this leprechauns or jeepers creepers? The hands don't match the leprechauns face skin color lmao. Is this movie made low budget or what? Do yourself a favor and don't watch this movie unless you have edibles and that's perfect to watch it.

If so they all past with flying colours, im shocked the budget allowed them to film at a mansion. I guess thats why they used family and passers by to have a part. Forgetting this would have been part of an awful series, its even to bad for that. I mean, just walk down a road and shove a script in someones hands and say camera , go... its that bad.

I would rather chew glass, step on 800 nails, and pour bleach into my eye sockets than EVER watch this movie again. I've truly seen better acting at a 3 year olds school play. This movie was so awful I'd say it's one of the most disappointing and tragic events since 9/11. This movie left me with several questions he bit a girls neck and she just died? He didn't even bite it hard and she just died. He's not a vampire just a sad excuse of a leprechaun he looked more like yoda on crack. Genuinely save your time and watch paint dry.

I am a huge horror & B movie fan. I have a very large collection, some of it cheesey, but this? All i had to see was the very sad attempt at the Leprechaun makeup. More or less on the face only, bare white hands? The edges of the ear are green, the rest isnt. The outfit looked like something from a Shriners parade and the accent sounded like a blend of Eastern European to middle eastern. This has to be the first 5 foot tall Leprechaun i have ever seen.

Now, with so many films in which Warwick Davis did such a great job and cementing the standard.....how on earth did someone come up with this? As this was being filmed they really thought this was reasonably acceptable? How does this happen?

Its very seldom that i give up on a movie but i honestly lasted about 10 minutes.

First off, you need to have a certain personality to love b-rate schlock. It let's you pass things off and find them as entertaining and charming. This movie, however, cuts every corner they could. The makeup artist should be ashamed of themselves for even allowing that abomination to be shown on screen. The script should've been burned. I can't believe people actually auditioned to be in this slop. The acting was actually just fine, but I feel bad for them having to work with this script. The dialogue at least had good enough sound quality to it. Also, don't expect literally anything to happen for 30 minutes and at least they finally gave the leprechaun gloves after the initial first scene. Genius stuff there guys.
