Andhera

Andhera grips from the very first episode with a plot that's both intriguing and emotionally layered. The narrative builds suspense without losing heart, weaving twists that keep you hooked till the very end. It's a refreshing reminder that a well written thriller can be both sharp and deeply engaging.

The series is an utter waste of time with flawed story and script. Makes no sense. Even couldn't present proper haunting material. At some stage you will feel that even writer isn't able to control the gist of story. No horror or goosebump moments. Couldn't expect such thing from Farhan Akhtar who is a good movie maker.

In this unsettling Mumbai tale, a haunting blend of folklore, sci-fi, and urban myth creates a uniquely chilling horror-thriller. Bit slow at times. Andhera is a good attempt at a complex show, and the creators deserve recognition for their ambitious vision, even if the execution is inconsistent and the pacing drags.

Well, they've clearly tried to give Stranger Things an Indian touch, but after watching so many Hollywood series in this genre, this one just doesn't match up. The main character feels dull and unconvincing. There are unnecessary scenes (like the forced lesbian subplot) that add nothing to the story.

The dialogues are poorly written - one moment the character is speaking English, and the very next line in Hindi. At least maintain some consistency. The mix of sci-fi and horror just doesn't blend well here.

On the positive side, the visual effects and VFX are impressive - no doubt about that. Sadly, good visuals can't save weak storytelling.

The plot is not that super exciting and the series lack a bit but it is good in bits nd pieces as the acting of the cast is good but story doesn't hold that much.

The chemistry between prajakta and the main lead actor is really good also the supporting role of the actors are also good but story needs to be more shining.
