That description sums up why it's not as bad as Ghost Blood Hand, yet it's still not a good iQIYI movie. With bad story come decent action scenes and a funny behind-the-scenes clip, Jackie-Chan style. Once again, it's a different actor who took on the primary role of Di Renjie just because... The CGI visuals are quite good for a low budget Chinese flick.

In conclusion, it's a mixed bag, whether or not you'll add it to a digital collection. Personally, I'd rather move on to the next than watch it for at least a second time.
