An outstanding movie

I loved the movie, seen in OTT for five times..The story is different than the usual partition film. Contribution of Bengal in partition and how true love of two persons suffered. This is a film of love and sacrifice, A true story rarely has a happy ending. This movie is also no exception. This is a family movie and our younger generation should not about various pros and cons of partition. Excellent music, the song is echoing in my ear ,although main star cast is not a popular face , their performance so naive and innocent , true to their characters, above all I congratulate director Lama, and COMFED production for producing such a close to reality,a bold film.

Very good movie

As someone with a deep interest in South Asian history, 'Bengal 1947' offered a fresh perspective on the partition of India. While the events of partition are often portrayed through a political or macro-historical lens, this film focused on the human stories behind the headlines. Through the lens of a love story set in Bengal, the film explored the profound impact of partition on individuals and families. From the initial outbreak of communal violence during Direct Action Day to the subsequent waves of migration and displacement, the narrative painted a vivid picture of the human cost of partition. What resonated with me most was the film's nuanced portrayal of identity and belonging. As borders shifted and communities were torn apart, the characters grappled with questions of nationality, religion, and cultural heritage. Their personal struggles mirrored the larger existential crisis facing the Bengali people in the wake of partition. By the film's conclusion, I was left with a renewed appreciation for the complexities of history and the enduring resilience of the human spirit.
