HEY EVERYBODY ITS ME, (4) and today we review ....
so imma start off by saying ...i have a problem with this one .... the infamous killer of indie films SOUND ..... MANY thing can be forgiven in low to no budget films .... BUT if you have GOOD quality sound then for some odd reason .... the audience can trick their mind into accepting things like bad lighting or acting etc ... but IF you have bad sound .... it brings all the rest crashing down .......at the 27 minute mark theres a phone call ...and the "voice" on the other end of the cell phone cal be heard ..and its the silly "cartoon" style jibberish sounds .... now ..... using cartoon like sounds ...lol.... if bad sound is a killer then cartoon sounds are the knife .......
the other issue i have and this is with MANY of the youtube free film channels .... they always cut the gore out ...the crop zoom in garbage ...... i get it ..youtube slap all us small content creators and "nobodies" for doing the slightest thing they dont like yet the big boys get away with things that the guidelines were literally made to stop .. but it still sucks not seeing all the glory of the intended scenes and i also imagine some of those moments where i cant tell what is happening and it looks like some sort of cabinets in the background because of how zoomed in it is ....is some sort of sexy times going on lol...

28 minutes in the dialogue between the black dude and the girlfriend is funny ...
and throughout the film i enjoyed alot of it NOW the plot line on imbd says this "humorous " tale .... lol.. uhm ..no ... after reading that i kind of expected a comedy aspect to this one ...and it DID have a few moments here or there BUT for sure not enough to use that in the story plot .........over all its a decent take on the cannibal family cliche' only with urban black people instead of white hillbillies ...and of course some of the "casual" race commentary IS in this film BUT not so much that it make it more about being PC or WOKE etc , so it doesnt have some extreme "we hate white people "message BUT it does have the black unity of "we dont eat our own" etc ....and that makes sense so i appreciate the story being realistic in that sense .....(just to try and be super clear so no one gets offended or misunderstands me here .... im saying the movie isnt super hate full either way for any reason ...but does hold to the "we stay with our own people" thing going on in the story )
so over all heres what i think .. this film is a great idea and only suffers from no budget and a bit of rough editing (probably due to youtube stuff ) personally i loved the characters ...especially HOPSIN all grown up LOL .... if you get that then your awesome ...... but the family thing worked ... the acting was stiff and some were........well.... i mean ..... they were there at least ..... so ..good job ......... so im judging this strictly on the NO budget scale
