With the 2024 movie "Secrets Between Sisters" being a Lifetime movie, I have to say that I weren't exactly harboring the biggest of expectations. Yet, with it being a movie that I had neither seen, nor heard about, of course I opted to check out the movie.

Writers Rib Hillis and Jessica Morris put together a script and storyline that, while being watchable, was ultimately rather generic and mundane. The problem with the narrative is that it was too mundane and linear. The writers never once throws a curve ball to get put the audience on the edge of their seats.

The acting performances in the movie were good. The only performers that I was familiar with were Jessica Morris and Daniel Stine.

Watchable, sure, but it wasn't an outstanding crime thriller. And it most definitely is not a movie that warrants more than just a single viewing.

My rating of director Linden Ashby's 2024 TV movie "Secrets Between Sisters" lands on a four out of ten stars.
