Andaaz 2

While watching the promotions of this movie, what struck me was the fact that the director Suneel Darshan kept emphasizing that he has made this movie keeping the Indian traditional values and principles in mind, which are missing in today's films. Sadly, the treatment of the movie is such that one wonders if the same traditional value system could be depicted on screen without the worn-out style of storytelling.

Andaaz 2 tells the story of our lead character, played by Aayush Kumar, who is a musician constantly belittled and mocked by his father for not earning enough, with only his mother by his side as a supportive shield. He meets his love interest Akaisha in the formulaic Bollywood style, and then there is the other heroine, played by Natasha, who becomes obsessed with him-much like the character played by Karishma Kapoor in Darshan's previous film, Mere Jeevan Saathi. The crux of the story is about the male lead and his struggles to win his father's approval, along with dealing with an obsessive employer and the risk of losing his love in the bargain.

Suneel Darshan's direction seems dated and stuck in the 90s. The problem is that not only is the treatment of the film very old-school, but the two female leads perform abysmally. Only the lead actor Aayush shows some promise. As for the other side characters, the less said the better-especially the very annoying Dolly Bindra, who plays the lustful neighbour constantly trying to seduce the male lead.

I watched this movies as I seen all previous movies of Suneel Darshan and Nadeem Shravan musicals.

First I salute Suneel Darshan for giving us a family drama having some very good messages between every type of relations like friendship, lover and family relations.

In Acting Aayush did very good he didn't looked that this is his debut movie. Akaisha and Natasha need improvement in acting in dance steps all three are good I think Raju Khan's choreography have worked. Other all supporting actors did well.

In Cinematography I thing very good.

Editing would be better.

And about music, No doubt living legend Nadeem always given us songs with long time recall value. Singers also did very good job but Sonu Nigam, Babul Supriyo could be better option as Nadeem Shravan used them always. Fareed sung very well, Palak is new generatin Alka Yagnik, and yes some old school fans wanted Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan type singers but in My openion they couldn't good option for fresh and this age group actors. Yes Shreya Ghoshal would be good option.

Congrats to Suneel Darshan for gave us a new movie like Ajay, Jaanwar, Ek Rishtaa, Andaaz, Dosti... Friends Forever & Mere Jeevan Saathi maximum of these movies were not sudden hit but every movies have lifetime recall value so Andaaz 2 have also same..

This month this is second case of big maker after gap of years returning with disasters which makes me feel they should have not made a comeback instead bowed out with the image they had of some major block busters to their credit. After Rajiv rai pathetic come back movie this one too is equally bad come back project but production looks little better than rajiv's movie. The lead are pathetic the girl atleast looks better. Script. Direction, music, lead actor etc is very poor which this kind of movie dont think suneel will ever get any opportunity to make another movie.
