फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
This movie was sort of special. The only way to review this movie is by list points.
Here's what's wrong with it: Hand signals/commands are often wrong and extremely overused. Too many GoPro camera shots. Cliché'd soldier lines. Cliché'd scenarios. Extensive use of weapons with total disregard of gun mechanism reality. Blow stuff up first and then ask questions. Highly unprofessional & childish tactics. HQ felt like a LAN-Party and not as official intelligence center. No characters are even remotely likable. Cheesy drama (Soldier dies). LOL Entire movie feels like White Boys vs Nigros. That's how political incorrect that movie is.
The good thing: Blow stuff up. A lot of it. And millions of rounds of bullets. Like rain. Or a hailstorm.
It's nothing compared to any other military movie, because this one, is cheap in every regard. If you like Call of Duty rip-offs and those sorta indie FPS video games, you will watch this, for sure, yet you will shake your head at how ridicules this movie was. Nevertheless, if you like bullet rain and bombs blowing up, give it a try.

I think some folk who have reviewed this flick in the past are judging it by storyline. I approach war / action /terrorism movies simply from the following ways: 1. Is there a sinister evil enemy that is believable and makes you despise them by the end? 2. Creative cinematography. Cmon we have all seen people shot in the head, there are very few gruesome scenes that have not been done before. Have to say there were a few in this (albeit unbelievable) that made me go wow. 3. Overall training of the actors. Do they look like soldiers, hold their gun as if they have been to boot camp. Thought Lex Shrapnel (what a name) was decent in this and others were strong characters.
This movie meets all of these critique elements and some. I definitely don't recommend this flick for people who are not in to saving private ryan, black hawk down etc. but for for those that do, this movie is a solid 6/10.

I think as a viewer you can't honestly expect a blockbuster from a low end production studio. Given that frame of reference I find it amazing that director of photography went above and beyond. It was as if he or she poured their heart and soul into it and it shows. Yes the plot line is overused and yes there are elements in which you roll your eyes and yes dialogue is silly but behind all of that there is some good fun to be had in this movie.
Camera work (minus the usual hand-held) was spot on. We got to see elements of Africa in all of its beauty zebras and all.
I gave this movie a 5, even though I think it really deserves a 3 but it honestly tried. Was it not for silly dialogue and over the board trivialized gunfights and 9 gazillion bullets that never hit anything and the pointless explosions and yes even nudity... outside of all of that we have a flick that you can rent on a rainy day to enjoy.
We have become so spoiled by high production films that I actually do genuinely enjoy these college graduate movies and it felt like a college graduate's first movie. It was unpolished but it is a start.

I'm assuming this is what happens when a marginally okay director picks up a script from a special needs kid. It's not even a good idea for a charity project but what amazes me is how they got a halfway decent cast, and what seems to be a huge amount of funding and the backing of one of the largest Hollywood production studios all to produce this atrocity. Maybe Hollywood needs to stop for a moment and take a good look at itself. I am aware that there's "movies" out there that are worse, but non of them really irritated me like this one because they clearly had more resources than they deserve to make this pile of garbage.
This movie makes it sound like all the navy seals are the best. When factually overall navy seals or a tier 2. The only navy seals that are tier 1 are a subgroup within the navy seals. We know as seal team 6.
The U. S. military uses a system of tiers to categorize its special operations units, generally dividing them into three levels: Tier 1 (most elite), Tier 2 (highly specialized), and Tier 3 (standard special operations). Tier 1 units are known for their highly secretive and covert missions, while Tier 2 units focus on more overt and specialized operations.
Here's a more detailed breakdown: Tier 1 (Black): These are the most elite special operations units, tasked with the most complex and dangerous missions. Tier 1 include. Delta Force: Known for its direct action capabilities and covert operations.
DEVGRU (Navy SEAL Team 6): Specializes in counter-terrorism and direct action operations. Which are a group within the overall Group of navy seals. Teir 1 also includes.
24th Special Tactics Squadron (Air Force): Provides specialized tactics and support for other special operations units.
Intelligence Support Activity: Focuses on intelligence gathering and analysis for special operations.
Regimental Reconnaissance Company (Marine Corps): Known for its reconnaissance and direct action capabilities.
Tier 2 is below tier 1(Gray): These units are also highly specialized, but their operations are often less secretive than Tier 1. Examples include: Navy SEALs: A diverse force with expertise in maritime operations, combat diving, and special warfare.
Navy SWCCs: Conducts maritime special operations and counter-terrorism.
Marine Raiders: Known for their rapid deployment and amphibious operations.
Air Force Combat Controllers: Control combat operations and provide tactical guidance.
Air Force PJs: Provide critical medical support in combat zones.
Army Rangers: Elite infantrymen with a focus on direct action and special operations.
Army Special Forces (Green Berets): Perform foreign internal defense and irregular warfare operations.
Army Nightstalkers: Support special operations with helicopter and air assault capabilities.
Tier 3 (White): These are standard special operations units that support the overall special operations mission. Examples include: 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions (Army): Provide rapid deployment and air assault capabilities.
Marines Recon Battalions: Conduct reconnaissance and intelligence gathering.
Navy Riverine Command: Operate in coastal and inland waterways.
Air Force 142nd Fighter Wing: Provides air power support for special operations.
So if you're ever in a conversation and people say, the navy seals are the best, tell them the truth that the overall navy seals are tier, 2. The best of the best is delta force. So this movie makes it sound like Navy Seals are the best of the best. Which overall they are not.
