फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I haven't seen Hayride 1, but it looks like this one is supposed to follow right after the events of that movie. We do get some flashbacks of the killer being killed or injured and also being identified as some old guy.
Now he's transported in an ambulance with the cops following behind. The EMT is working on him, but surprise...surprise, he wakes up, kills the EMT, kills the driver and the ambulance flips over. The cops behind crash into a tree.
Then somehow Pitchfork makes it to the hospital where the survivors from part 1 are, and there's a bunch of them for some reason--two brothers and the pregnant girl of one of them. At the hospital Pitchfork starts killing random employees and eventually goes after the survivors. He kidnaps the girl and takes her to his lair. The cops and the brothers go after him for the resolution.
Hayride 2 is a C-horror movie that looks like a B-movie. It does look good and they make lots of use of coloring tricks. The villain is one big scary dude. It's filmed mostly during that day, but unfortunately even crews with little budget insist on filming the climax at night. And filming at night without a budget results in a dark ugly mess. It is after all a C-level movie, with an unfinished script with plenty of nonsensical elements. Violence and gore are kept to a minimum. Nudity amounts to a girl's back. There's an awful lot of talking going on accompanied with ridiculous melodramatic piano music. The person in charge of music really botched it. But then again, some of this endless babbling on should have been edited out to begin with. This movie is a decent wanna-be slasher, just be ready to fast forward quite a bit.

Anybody who managed to make it to the end of Hayride (2012) will know that the hulking sack masked psycho from the fields did not die in the original movie. At least the first film was bad in a semi fun way, this sequel however is simply abysmal. The acting is atrocious, the paper thin plot is awful, it's boring and features the most inept police force in the USA, despite their manpower, weapons etc it's down to two local lads to find and put an end (?) to old Pitchfork. One of the worst slasher movies that I have had the displeasure to sit through, avoid!
If you haven't seen the terrible first part from 2012, don't worry. In the beginning you will see a summary so you can enter the hayride. The positive fact is that the horror is better than in part 1. The killings are done on-camera and we do have red stuff here and there but as in the first part it's a long ride throughout all the talking going on.
I saw this immediately after the 2012 version and I had the stop button in my hand but people who knew me do know I sit throughout every flick I see. It's not the worst flick I came across but it wasn't a nice flick. Still, it do deliver a few bloody shots. Only for the geeks of low budget slashers.
Gore 0/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 1,5/5 Story 2/5 Comedy 0/5

This movie is just bad from the get-go. The tries to borrow from Halloween 2 but does it unsuccessfully. Every scene is predictable. The lighting and camera work it's so bad none of the settings on my Bravia could help it. This makes me want to give Rob Zombie's Lords of Salem at 10 out of 10 Stars.
First of all I have to say considering this was made three years after the first movie it is impressive that it follows on directly from the previous's finale and includes the original cast. That kind of stuff makes all the difference and this franchise deserves a hat tip for that but that alone.
Pitchfork returns and continues his killing spree with the previous movies survivors trying to stop him and as with the first you'll see nothing even remotely original and wall to wall clichés.
Again it's not entirely terrible it's just poorly thought out.
Richard Tyson returns again but only in a flashbacks capacity.
There are worse horror franchises than Hayride and truth be told though they aren't good you can do worse. Combined this is a 3hr slasher epic which badly falls short but does have a couple of things going for it.
The Good:
Follows straight on from the first complete with cast
The Bad:
Unforgivably boring in parts
Defies logic and reason
Things I learnt from this movie:
Heroes can wear wifebeaters to
A dozen stabs in the back can be easily walked off

- ट्रिवियाMuch to the surprise of the Director and many of the crew members, Sherri Eakin Jeremy Ivy Jeremy Sande and Rae Varela all managed to actually cry on camera for their more emotional scenes. Some of the performances received applause from the crew at the end of the takes.
- गूफ़Early on, Amanda stands topless with her back to the camera and puts on a white tank top t-shirt. However, for the rest of the movie she has a bra on under that t shirt.
