Dylan, Amber, Cheryl, and Koji are a team of amateur sleuths and bloggers investigating a haunted abandoned mansion. The game is 100 Candles where participants tell horror stories and blow out candles in front of a mirror. They call up Lady Anne who is buried on the grounds.
This indie horror runs into a structural problem. The stories being told by these four people mean nothing. They have no tension. They are only around ten minutes long and there is no way to fill out these characters. The four kids are barely characters. The characters within the stories told by the characters are shadows. Calling them two dimensional would be too many. I like some of the little stories. Even if they are good, they are meaningless vapors in the air. The big story of the four kids suffer from the lost of time.

I randomly decided to watch this in the cinema without knowing anything about it except the genre (dumbest decision ever). Everything is bad in this movie, the acting, the story , and god the SCRIPT. It was so boring and I stayed on my phone wishing for it to end as quickly as possible. It contains so many characters and so many storylines, like they decided to include every single element of horror but somehow still managed for the movie to NOT be scary or interesting. I can't believe how bad the quality of movies has reached, the only horrifying element to this movie is how BAD it is. So save yourself money and time, and go watch Halloween or Don't Breathe or literally any other movie.
