Silence 2

A decently made thriller movie with a solid performance from Manoj Bajpayee. The other cast members also do well and thankfully there is no overacting from them. The case builds up as the movie progresses and it might seem like a slow burner for some viewers but it doesn't become boring at all. The plot is well laid out but one might feel that towards the end when the main culprit is caught it is a bit far fetched. But that's for the viewer to decide. The movie does focus on an important topic and stays true to that.

Besides Bajpayee's smooth acting one other person who definitely caught my attention is Parul Gulati. She acted well and played her part with witch such finesse. Will definitely like to see more of her in future movies.

This is a movie definitely worth a watch.

The story starts as a murder mystery and becomes thrilling towards the end. Intriguing at many parts. Few parts could have been cut short for a even compelling story.

Performances are so good. Manoj Bajpayee as usual - perfect. Prachi Desai did a clean role. Others performed well too.

The story is guessable at many parts but has surprising elements too. The antagonist also delivers a convincing performance.

Believable investigations and ending.

I do not know why this film is so underrated.

Overall a decent murder mystery film which is worth a watch if you are a fan of this genre. Go for it!

: The Night Owl Bar Shootout' released on April 16. The film fails to impress as a crime thriller despite its potential. Manoj Bajpayee returns as ACP Avinash Verma with 'Silence 2' Aban Bharucha Deohans is the writer and director The film suffers from an unsteady pace and a disappointing climax. The run time of this movie is 2hrs and 40 minutes. But I assure you. You can't be borred any more if you watch this movies. But i think in my perspective the others actors except Monoj Bajpaee & Prachu Deshai.

If we talked about the production the arrangement was so good.

The entire movie is let down by everyone including the director except Manoj. This could have been a lot lot better. I had watched silence 1 when it came out and it was a good film. But this utterly disappoints. The acting....is a complete disaster, and so is the way it is directed and the way the entire story is planned. The antagonist is irritating, not because she is convincing in her role, but because she is trying too hard and its not coming out of her. The mad guy shouldn't even have get the roll of this disaster movie. I dont know what stuff did the creators of this movie smoked while making it. This looks like an extended cheap tv serial.

Movie is let down by the acting calibre of the supporting cast. Loud reactions and overacting are the fallback of every average actor. This was abundantly evident as the movie progressed. Though the Directors tried to hide the possible murder suspect, but if you have watched enough Bollywood movies there are ample clues to zero in on the possible culprit. Manoj Bajpaye has his familiar eccentric style of acting, so you could say he was his efficient self. The direction and the narrative wasn't taut enough to keep the audience captivated. This is the kind of movie you could watch on a lazy, rainy Saturday afternoon, where you have nowhere to go and nothing to watch.
