...just how little English contestants know about the history of their own country. Program after program their lack of knowledge is astounding. Example, King Canute came to the throne in 1018..was her from Russia, Spain or Denmark. She thought it sounded Spanish but guessed the correct answer, Denmark. An embarrassment to the state of general knowledge in the UK...BTW...I'm Australian
We have young contestants that need to be grouped together to give one of them a chance to win some money to many old money grabbers on young contestants not getting a chance they need money for their future .I admire that they apply to be on the programme we need to
Look after the young people for future to many old people on tipping point and I've watched it since it started. Years ago it's not just elderly that need money .things are costing more for young ones who want to go to university or have a family to support.costa are contiinuely going up meaning less can get to university and we need these people for the country's future.
Hi Ben
TIPPING POINT is my absolute favourite show and if I'm home, NOTHING makes me miss it.
I LOOOOOVE the show and you are a presenter of note!
Sadly, I have noticed that the show is rigged. Why do I say that? Well, I am totally convinced that you guys spin the tokens to your liking. I tried to do everything I can to convince myself that it is not true, but unfortunately there is to much evidence to the contrary. The last one being a token that was dropped down DROPZONE 2. It hit the bottom and spun to the left so hard, that it hit the wall and bounced back more than half way, simply just to roll (or should I say spin, because it was fast) all the way way back left to the wall again. Something, because of the law of physics, is absolutely impossible, unless it has been spun viciously.
You will very likely deny this. However I would ask you not to. If I am wrong, then put lines or dots or whatever you wish on the tokens and prove to us that I'm wrong.
I wish I never had to write this, but I believe it is necessary, Kindly Daniel.
P. S. Doing the spinning of the counters only takes place once the JACKPOT COUNTER is included. If it is left, you spin the tokens right and vica versa.
Which puts more proof to what I'm saying, because in the earlier rounds you do not do so. The counters are all over the drop zones - left, right and middle.

Are Tipping Point questions too easy or is it meant for primary school children's viewing?
A typical question and answer may be as follows-
Ben -
"What fruit is orangey flavoured, orange in colour and has a chocolate version made by Terry's?"
Contestant -
"Is it a Cadbury Cream Egg?"
Maybe not but comes close.

Have just watched Tipping Point screened on 9/11/21 in Australia. A question was asked which animal was an egg laying mammal. Gaynor answered that it was a platypus and was told she was wrong and that the correct answer was an echidna. In fact both platypus and echidna are egg laying mammals. How disappointing that the researchers can't ensure the facts are correct.
