Gold Dogma

The title's meaning comes from the 'golden rule' or 'golden principle' - the principle of treating others as one wants to be treated. Various expressions of this rule can be found in the tenets of most religions and creeds through the ages and it is treated differently.

'Dogma' is defined as a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true. It is used to replace the word 'rule' or 'principle' to reflect various elements of the story. One of these is when the acronym formed by when the first letters of the fraternity (Delta Omicron Gamma) reflected in the Latin alphabet are put together to form 'DOG.' The other is very nuanced element is the pack dynamics of wolves in the wild and how they may behave towards each other in certain circumstances (isolating a member, asserting dominance, etc.).
