फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I was extremely sceptic, but the director (Karthik) nailed it. Every character in the movie was utilised to the fullest. Both of the lead actress and Navdeep have done an incredible job. Ajay Ghosh and Srinivas Reddy had the best comic timings. Background score was well made. Cinematography was top notch(ofcourse). Finally about Ravi Teja (Ravanna), as usual he has done an incredible job. I am preety sure he puts equal efforts in all his movies, but this one was def pretty special (Role and acting wise). Ravanna has been improving since day 1, was already the best and here we can see how well he can tackle a new role. Making a story around a character and elevating a role is incredibly different but Karthik has done a brilliant job from the story, screenplay to execution. Efforts were clearly more than the money, when matches with better scripts they can create history and I am sure this movie will do the same.
"Eagle" is merely another derivative of the several contemporary action thrillers that have emerged in Indian cinema, drawing inspiration from the "KGF" film series.
The majority of contemporary directors have transformed into what may be described as "buildup babais," to borrow a phrase from the comedy show "Jabardasth." This implies that they channel their creative efforts towards crafting written or filmed sequences that elevate the hero's character. Every scene is set up to highlight heroism.
The whole stretch of the first half of the film tests our patience as it is a series of many "buildup" sequences than nothing else. It becomes redundant and tedious after a point.
The second half was no better, but it does reveal Sahadev's true story and flashbacks.
Overall, the movie is very boring. We are still waiting for Ravi Teja to get a good and entertaining film for once. Even though Krack and Dhamaka were hits, they still were not that entertaining for me. Pls do not watch this film 🙏

As I was navigating the entirety of this film, I could not help but feel confused with the sudden shifts of focus in different perspectives of the film. The plot would have been easier to follow if the execution was linear and more direct to the point. The main character's story was enjoyable and interesting to watch. His backstory could have been a different film by itself. Then, the little production numbers scattered throughout the film, which was typical of Indian films, were not enough to bring the whole film together. They were enjoyable to watch, though. But what fell short in the entire film was its inconsistent themes.
Obviously every blockbuster movie influences creation of numerous movies. KGF is one of those. It has surely inspired all the directors, writers and producers. And therefore they are attempting to recreate the magic of KGF. Sadly, Eagle is literally one of the most pathetic attempts. Basic script and idea of the movie wasn't bad actually. It's the execution where it failed completely. Same as every other South Indian movie, this one will also be highly overrated here at IMDB. And it will fill up with lots of 10/10 votes. But it's nothing but a pure trash. If you don't want to waste your time, and you don't want to have a headache, avoid this movie.
A random story about the cotton export business which intrigues journalist Nalini to write an article about it. This leads her to be the center attraction for Indian authorities right from CBI to secret services. This pushes her to investigate the man responsible for the cotton business to thrive and his multi face which has scared the bejesus out of the authorities of not just India but dozen other countries. What truth she uncovers as she interrogates the people who have encountered the mystery man as well as the ones who standby him, forms rest of the story.
The uneven narrative to constantly hype the hero's character and the abrupt shift in the timelines as the story gets narrated by different set of people, the attempt is to create enough mystery around the character but fails heavily in achieving it. Sure it reminded me of KGF narrative as well but unlike it, Eagle lacks the writing that made the character as special as the supporting characters hype him to be. Having said that, what truly works in Eagle are the action set pieces especially the climax one with a surprising twist. It is these action bits that shows the ambition of the director and one can only wish it had got a better film.
Eagle has all the qualities to be a solid masala entertainer but remains uneven throughout. The constant shift in the narrative in the first half fails to generate any interest and the flashback in the second half just comes out of a routine. Ravi Teja is actually good as Sahadev / Eagle and he gives his best to match the hype created around his character. Rest all characters only exist to glorify the hero and there aren't any strong antagonists to amplify the drama. Basically there are nobody to match Eagle and that alone doesn't help create enough intrigue for the sequel.
