I expected more but animation style and animation are bad they are bad cheap cgi the story is good but i gave up half way trough just because animation is soo bad .if they just used animation from the 80s i would have been 10x better.Avoid this at all costs.

Before I start my review, I need to say that I haven't watched Transformers Prime so I am new to this version of Transformers, but that didn't stop me from watching this movie. After watching the movie, I can say that it was awesome.

Positives for Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising (2013): First off, this movie has a phenomenal voice cast from Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, John Noble, Will Friedle, Steve Blum, Nolan North, Kevin Michael Richardson, Jeffrey Combs and Michael Ironside. I love that the Autobots, Decepticons and Predacons have to team up so they can defeat Unicron. I love that this movie focuses on the Transformers and the Transformers only. The action sequences in this movie are absolutely spectacular from start to finish. And finally, I love the way how this movie ends and it feels appropriate to the series.

Overall, Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising (2013) is a spectacular TV movie and that's something I don't often say a lot of times.

Talking as a long time fan of the Transformers I have to say it took some time to get use to Transformers Prime but the series improve so much that it made it a worthy show to have the name Transformers.

So it only seem fit to give it a motion picture and let me tell you this film is very much more than meets the eye.

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising which is a mouthful to say by the way since the third season was called "Beast Hunters".

But the film features a well cast group of actors to voice our favorite Autobots Decepticons and Predacons.

This cast has Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Steve Blum, Jeffrey Combs, Sumalee Montano, Peter Mensah, Will Friedle, Kevin Michael Richardson, Michael Ironside, Nolan North Daran Norris and many more.

This amazing cast brings the characters we know and love to life with strong voice performances. And when you listen to their performances you can tell they brought their A game to the table.

Also the film feature such excellent effects and artwork watching this film is like watching art. The crew behind the animation brought their top game to the table because every scene in this film is a work of art some of the best C G I animation ever done.

The story is also very powerful and clearly gives you a feel that the writers wanted to pleased the Transformers Fans and thankfully it does.

Everything about this film is more than meets the eye and I am happy to be a fan of the Transformers.

Overall Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising serves as the series finale to Transformers Prime and it send it off on a high note and it will always be worthy of the name Transformers.

If you are a long time fan like me you will love it even the new fans will still respect the legend.

Autobots Transform and Roll out! Decepticons Attack!

First of all I must say I was a big fan of transformers prime, and was my introduction to the transformers series, I watched the animated and the Michael bay movies but they really couldn't catch me the way prime did, and after having to endure years upon years to finally get me a hbo max account I must say it was well worth the waiting, that said, this movie, as the ending of the beast hunters saga, was a disappointment, I don't know the behind the scenes of the production but you can tell it was not only rushed but it was gutted as well, the first half hour of the movie was not only on par with the series at its best but even managed to surpass it for a moment, but afterwards it quickly became clear there was a shift during the production of the movie, as at least one third of the entire runtime seems to have been taken away, and the writers seemingly had to panic and scramble ideas to tie up what's still left of the movie, ideas had to be abandoned, plot points scrapped and recycled and the ending had to be rushed, at the end, there was no beast hunting, no (alive) predacons rose up, and no epic battle between our three main players, with the ending being as close to a deus ex machina, even if it ultimately (kind of) made sense given the situation. It left me wondering what happened behind the scenes more than what happened on screen.

It was okay, you should watch it.

I watched this right after finishing Transformer Prime Season 1 to 3 and I'm absolutely touched. The story is INCREDIBLE, logics are tight, characters are ALIVE and the voice actors are simply amazing! To be honest, I never understood why Transformers are such a hit UNTIL I watched the TFP series, especially after getting so deeply disappointed by the non-sense, sexist Transformers movies first.

My recommendation:

• Watch the Transformers Prime TV shows first before watching this movie; it will make the movie 10 times better, promise.

• If you only want to enjoy some special effects and mindless explosions and cares nothing about the story, character development and basic logics, by all means, go for the Transformers movies. But if you are sincere about getting to know a truly magnificent story and to see the real charm behind each Transformer, including the Decepticons, Transformers Prime WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. My only regret is that I watched the Prime series too fast.
