Anna gets instructions from her doctor regarding her recovery. Sam tries to get back with Shelley. Sam visits Anna to see how she's doing, and the spend an evening together until it ends unexpectedly.
Anna's grandmother passes away, and an old friend comes to pay his respect. Sam's dad encourages him to not give up on his marriage, so he goes to his family home and loses control when he sees an unexpected visitor.
