Appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs the day five Europeans were taken hostage in the Sahel by terrorists, Marie Tessier decided to take charge of the case and negotiate to avoid the risks of a commando operation.
Marie convinces her European counterparts who also have a hostage to negotiate on their behalf. If she fails, they will move on to the commando operation proposed by Germany.
The hostages are front page news, and European counterparts want a commando operation. Under pressure, Marie pretends that AIAO has resumed negotiations. But Germany negotiates its hostage on its own.
Marie manages to stop the plane by blocking DDM cargo ships destined for the Sahel. Germany is furious. During a press conference, Marie takes the opportunity to address AIAO: it is France that is managing this negotiation.
Marie is the Minister of Sports, it's depressing. AIAO calls the Quai d'Orsay, they only want to talk to Marie, otherwise they will kill a French hostage. Marie is urgently summoned to conclude the negotiation.
Marie manages to reach AIAO's hideout in the Sahel and makes believe that France is sending her to close this liberation. The president must cancel the commando operation and send a plane with the ransom. But the hostages escape.
