From pilot to finale every episode stirs an honest emotional response; be it laughter at the sharp wit or shedding a few tears at the brutal honesty, Mom delivers. Characters come & go but the show's backbone - Allison Janney, strengthened by the ensemble cast shines bright and leaves us hopeful for tomorrow, inspired for today.

In the episode where Violet resurfaces with her own podcast, it really angered me.

I am writing here about it.

In the episode, Violet completely trashes her Mom, as though Christy never was in AA getting her life together, those years leading up to the episode. It would be best if that was removed from the viewing rotation.

Why couldnt the writers have used Violet's podcast so she could tell how much better off she was having learned life lessons so early on, in the stead of being a spoilt 18 to 22 year olde, when she would venture out on her own. How shew would have been so far ahead of young ladies her age, how she was so popular because she was helping her age group how to manage their check accounts, how to clean their rooms, do the laundry.

Seriously, lose the episode. It is such an unfair, unright downer.

Chuck Lorre is one of the creator of the show, who is one of the best currently Hollywood has. The series follows the love hate relationship between a Mom played by Academy Award Winner Allison Janney alongside Anna Faris as her Daughter, keeping with their sobriety with a struggling Economic & Social conditions. Mom has every set of emotions including Humor, Laughs, Sadness, happiness etc. Allison Janey is the Star of the show. She has also got Emmy for her role as Bonnie Plunkett .With some good performances by its regular and recurring cast along with a strong message & writing this Tv-series is totally recommended

As a devoted viewer who completed all 7 seasons of Mom, I must commend the flawless portrayal of its characters. Christy shines brilliantly, and her intelligent mother adds depth to the narrative. The other female characters also have captivating roles, contributing to the show's allure. Season 1 kicks off with a bang, featuring a hilarious first episode, with the 22nd episode being the standout highlight of the entire series. As the story unfolds, it delves into heart-touching moments, while maintaining a fresh and evolving plot with each passing season, revolving around the cast and their struggles with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

Though the humor may take a backseat in later seasons, the show connects viewers more deeply with the characters, making it a wonderful and enriching experience. Season 6 stands out as the best, followed by the 3rd and 1st, while Season 5 falls short in comparison. While some sexual references may not be family-friendly, the show boasts good humor, strong character development, and splendid direction. I rate it 7.5/10.

Allison Janney made me do something I had never done before. To be devotedly attached to a sit-com. She has created a character in Mom that it's bloody irresistible. An awful mother that it's impossible not to love. That's only achievable if the actress playing her is a genius. Anna Faris playing her daughter is a total find for me. Wonderful and a perfect foil for Allison Janney who reminds me of some of my favorites from the past, Kay Kendall, Eve Arden, Mary Astor, Joyce Grenfell and at the same time, she's like nobody else. She had only one moment in Primary Colors but she's memorable and has an entrance in The Hours that took my breath away. I want to see her in a movie that showcases her extraordinary talents to the fullest. Is that too much to ask?
