Psycho-Pass Providence

The movie was a mere replica of its previous movies and shows. The villains' motives were the same as always, aiming to construct a better world and surpass the Sibyl system.

The protagonist, as usual, came in and saved the day. It was nothing more than a typical story that had already been told in earlier movies.

Although the animation was impressive, and the background score was fantastic, there was nothing particularly noteworthy about this film compared to other movies in the Psycho-Pass series.

For those who are new to Psycho-Pass, it is crucial to watch the previous movies and shows to comprehend some of the characters, and you might find it to be a repetitive story, as I did.

To conclude, the movie provided a decent experience, but it lacked originality and depth. I would recommend watching it once but don't expect anything out of the ordinary from previous movies and series.

The animation was impressive, when the movie began I almost though for a moment it was a live action adaptation. The combat scenes are very impressive, easily as good as anything else I have ever seen. The story arc reminded me a lot of some of the Ghost in the Shell movies, as they were complex and convoluted. This is not a movie where you can turn your brain off. I watched a dubbed version, so I could not tell if the issue was the translation or not, but I suspect the story arc was complex. The character arcs were in character and great. It was really good to see Shinya Kôgami back again, Kôgami and Akane are my favourite characters.

At one stage I though the movies had gone on too long, but that was only for a moment and when they launch he final assault it was intense. Apart from that small period of time, the entire 2 hours seems to fly past in no time. The movie ended in a manner which may me realise the rumours of what happens to Akane was correct and it made sense. I see what the next season of Psyco Pass will be about and I can hardly wait.

Finally a sense of reasoning came to play in this movie I've been waiting for a chapter like this for so long and finally one might call it fan service but to me a check more like a deep check of the real world came to play when the inspector finally came to her conclusion that law were made for a reason despite the fact that they can be broken in that sense that's why we fine new ways to evolve wit reason but here the so call civil system is absolute, imagine an AI created by humans to rule them in terms of crime came to be the destruction of them all, to me I just want to see where this leads, physco pass is getting into my system.
