I gather from the news accounts on line that GOSSIP is losing audience week by week. And I grant that, so far, at least, it does not compete with the highly popular romantic rollercoasters, such as LOVE NEXT DOOR and QUEEN OF TEARS. Also, the most engaging romantic entanglement thus far dramatized is between two supporting characters on the ground: Lee El and Kim Joo-hun. But cliffhangers there are: plot contrivances to be resolved, love stories that will develop, and a wicked, overbearing patriarch overdue for comeuppance. This series is reported to have been extremely costly to produce, even if, or because, so much of it takes place within the zero-gravity confines of a space station. Even though the orbit of the ratings is degrading and the suits who fronted the $30 million may be weeping bitter tears, I am invested enough in what might attract Lee Min-ho and Kong Hyo-jin to each other, and what might keep them apart, that I plan to hang in there.

I love the two first episodes! The scenery is so spectacular! I love actor Lee Minho as the devoted doctor and as the astronaut against his wishes!

The commander Eve is so loveable! The scenes are all intense and yet give a lot of information that makes you wonder about the final plot. I like it when you have to wonder how the plot will be! That makes the watch more interesting!

The story is full of fun with a serous theme! On many scenes you can choose to take it serous or hilarious! Nicely done by the director.

It is long ago that I have seen a show where there is so much effort to give us viewers a treat to the eyes. The launching, the sky, the earth, the teams on earth and in space! So greatly done!

The space station is made so realistic as is the acting in this space station. What a great cast!

I am so looking forward to next week!

Loved it from the beginning. I felt that the show has a level of international and more mature Kdramas. I mean the images, the colors, styles of people are very different, we don't feel the clichés and we see some issues that we face in space (even with some sci fi). That make it very immersive. From my side, I liked the chemistry between the two, Eve being kind of shy and Gong Ryong being more straight and spontaeous. He is also very funny and i like him being impulsive in space.

A show that I think we will love to continue, and take time to appreciate it, without having this addictive side.

When the Stars Gossip is a Korean drama that is sharply written. The SciFi is present but not overwhelming. The characters are the focus. If you are reluctant because of the SciFi leaning, do not let you pass this by. SciFi lovers won't be put off either. Nothing flashy is done and when they do go into the effects it is for fun not to over where. This is a ratings sleeper so far I highly recommend this program. They are offering the Korean Romcom with a little spin, frankly I was getting bored but I am looking forward to each episode of When the Stars Gossip. With 16 episodes there will be plenty of twists and turns to keep you wanting more.
