A young African man is taken off a bus as someone had claimed he had a knife and called the police.

It's obvious to anyone with half a brain cell that the young man is terrified of police. Coming from the country he has to be in Australia, Victorian Police should know better than to speak to him as they did. Then the young man is so stressed, when he's speaking he has some spittle. The over zealous, macho, power tripping cop exclaims 'don't spit at me' and pushes the young African man down so hard on the good of the police car that his legs come off the ground to a great extent. It looked violent and was completely over the top. Then the cop tells the young man he has spittle when speaking.

The young man didn't deliberately spit at the cop at all.

This is disgusting behaviour from the Victorian police officer.

He was violent and should be suffering the consequences of that.

African refugees and immigrants often come from war turn, violent and traumatised backgrounds. Police and army can't be trusted to be anything other than violent in their country.

What do police in Australia expect? Of course the young man would be frightened. Learn some compassion and how to treat people properly. Being impatient and aggressive is completely unacceptable.

The cop needs to be reprimanded and educated and taken off this show.

Disgraceful behaviour from Victoria police.

This show is a guilty pleasure. Love seeing stoners, drongo's and incompetent people getting busted.

Again, shows like this, I love, that make for great entertainment, when, warmed up in front of the t.v. Shows like this, I lap up, thanks to the di..heads that get pulled over. I can't believe, how many are driving around without a license, and they try to argue their point with their petty excuses, to the obvious and eventual point of no avail, where shortly, expletives follow. From all the shows I've seen, I'm sure this city of trams has the biggest di..head ratio, and I do happen to like di..heads. I would love for one of these culprits to become famous with acting gigs, whatever, as some of them really have star potential. Like Motorway, but more current here, is the unnecessary verbal abuse, these Vic cops take, from these young dirty pigs, they pull over, where they really restrain em'selves well. The chases are really well captured, and this is a more lively show than Motorway, not as funny, but again, here's a show, that's done us Ocker's proud.

This program is used to shame the citizens' of Australia by portraying the police to be completely righteous and is borderline propaganda material. What happens when police brutality occurs or when police commit offenses? Watching this program is an embarrassment! Highway Patrol doesn't provide true entertainment or relevant knowledge.

At 30 minutes this show dewfinitely moves along. Each episode is chock full of action from these no-nonse police. Compared to the frud that tried to entertain us today, this is an absolute gem/. There's not a lot 'preview' of what you're going to see one minute from now unlike new shows and equally, very little after-show waste of time except a tid-bit of whha's upcoming.

Happily tghere are quite a few seasons and I'll watch them with a smile on my face as the penalties are DECIDEDLY no-nonsense.

This used to be the way it was in Canada but sadly, the law, as I feel it had degenerated in Britain, has no TEETH anymore. Far too many tiny fines and community service or similar slaps on the wrist.

Perhaps the land down under is no longer like this, more's the pity, but at least these series are right on.
