Since the short was made in 48 hours, Stephen Hensel learned how to mime the morning of shooting, from videos on the Internet and from director, Michael J. Wickham, a former professional clown. Philip Martin and Hjordy's Matos also learned their sign language lines that day, from Internet videos.
