Delivery Man

Yoon Chan-young plays Seo Yeong-min a taxi driver who's mother was killed under suspicious circumstances and he now works hard trying to pay of debt whilst living with his grandma. Suddenly a ghost called Kang Ji-hyeon played by Minah appears in his taxi and is unable to leave. She has no memory of how she came to be a ghost and how she apparently may have links to his mothers death. Because of her presence in the taxi mortals now become nauseous whenever they get in so together they decide to earn money by fulfilling the wishes of undeparted spirits., whilst also trying to refresh her memories. A well written story with superb acting from the two leads with an excellent supporting cast make this worth a watch. Amusing at times but also poignant as the last wishes of the departed are fulfilled as they get closer to the mystery of his mothers death.

This is a supernatural fantastic story so we already know everything that happens is unbelievable but there's also many holes in the script and the plot.

There's many many things that doesn't make sense and plots that could be dismantled in two seconds if the writer would use their logic and common sense ( or maybe underestimate the viewers intelligence) BUT I liked this drama nevertheless.

Once you surrender yourself to the hope that this can be a smart script you actually enjoy it as a silly comedy with a side of drama.

The series has less episodes than the average korean drama and its quite lighthearted and fast paced.

I particularly enjoyed the fact that the bad guy is actually a truly evil character. We are used to writers painting a half assed bad guy who actually ends uo not killing anyone and being forgiven. This drama has real evil and cruel villains and that's refreshing.

The funny parts are funny and the dramatic parts are very dramatic.

The main leads were okay in this and gave truly believable performances. Didn't believe the couple as much and couldn't stop seeing the huge age difference between them. Didn't care much for the chemistry but their acting was great.

Give it a try for a quick drama to binge during the weekend.

To sum up the premise of this show it could be said that it is a lower budget take on the Hotel del Luna concept, and for the viewers of that show there will be some familiar elements. That being said this show is its own thing and it has a markedly different dynamic towards the ending.

I think the leads made a good pair, and I liked that unlike many dramas where the plot gets redundant or silly after the main pair is together, here that only really happens at the very end, making it interesting all the way. The other actors were also pretty good.

The writing is mostly very decent, there are in fact some very well earned twists in the plot, and the thriller elements work quite well. Unfortunately towards the climax there are two scenes which felt very forced and implausible - that is characters doing extermely dumb things on both sides, it is really weird because it is trivial to change these scenes in a way to make total sense without affecting anything else, and I suggest to use your headcabon to do so.

Overall I really liked this show and I think it is fairly decent fantasy thriller with some romance thrown in to the mix.

Korean Drama " Delivery Man " is a fantasy comedy with a touch of romance.

The drama offers a variety of ghost stories that the main characters have to solve, which spices up the main plot, which, otherwise, isn't that original. Still, the drama does a good job of blending everything smoothly, even the romance. The latter was okay, kind of predictable, but the couple had chemistry and there were some cute moments between them.

The performances, in addition, were all enjoyable, as everyone in the cast handled their characters nicely.

So, overall, eight out of ten, mainly because of those ghost stories.

This was one of the cutest dramas I've ever watched. The chemistry between the two main leads was perfect! It had a kind-of engaging plot so I binged it over the course of a few days.

Some things that I didn't like were how there were a lot of things going on in the plot. Sometimes it felt like too much. With the murder mystery that we're introduced to in the first episode to the side stories of each one of the ghosts, it feels like the show is running multiple different plots.

But -- and a very big but -- this can easily be overlooked if you just focus on the comedy and cute scenes in this drama. Don't take it seriously, and only watch if you want something light.

Definitely would recommend!
