With its list of May 2024 releases, Amazon Prime Video is giving us the kindest gift of all: cougar Anne Hathaway.

May 2 sees the premiere of The Idea of You, a romantic-comedy that features Hathaway as a 40-year-old mom finding romance with a 24-year-old boy band singer (Nicholas Galitzine). Having saved the medium of film forever, Prime Video is celebrating with some big time library titles this month as well. American Fiction and BlacKkKlansman arrive on May 14 and will be followed by Creed and Pearl: An X-traordinary Origin Story on May 16.

For its TV offerings, Prime is leading off with Outer Range season 2 on May 16. This James Brolin sci-fi Western will continue the mysteries of the strange happenings on Thanos’ ranch. Reality TV fans will be able to enjoy the Daniel Tosh-hosted competition series The Goat on May 9.

These examples of mental illness, usually fodder for somber documentaries, are presented as fictional accounts with uplifting resolutions in Lifetime's "Call Me Crazy: A Five Film," premiering Saturday, April 20.

The movie is five short films, with different directors, including Bryce Dallas Howard, Ashley Judd and Laura Dern, and starring Brittany Snow, Jennifer Hudson and Melissa Leo. Jennifer Aniston and Marta Kauffman are executive producers.

"It opened my eyes and exposed me to what that life is," Hudson tells Zap2it of her character, Maggie, the traumatized soldier. "She is a mother and a daughter, and she appears to be completely normal, but something like the rape happened to her and made her that much different.

Washington, Apr 18: Jennifer Aniston, who played a horrifying manager in the 2011 comedy "Horrible Bosses," has revealed that in real life, she's a total "pushover" when in charge.

Aniston, who executive-produced the upcoming television movie 'Call Me Crazy: A Five Film,' admitted at the movie's premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday that she's a hardworking, no-nonsense boss who loves seeing a film come together from the ground up, the Washington Post reported.

The 44-year-old actor-turned-director/producer said that she finds passion projects, such as her upcoming movie, the most fulfilling.

Though audiences are used to watching the "Friends" actress in big budget blockbusters, Aniston finds passion projects like "Call Me Crazy" most-fulfilling.

Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland is making herself a second home over at Lifetime now that she’s been cast in the Lifetime/History miniseries Bonnie & Clyde. Airing in four parts, the miniseries will tell the well-known tale of Clyde Barrow (Emile Hirsch), the charismatic armed robber who swept Bonnie Parker (Holliday Grainger) off her feet and convinced her to be his partner in crime. They traveled the United States robbing various small shops and some banks. The story has been told many times before, but it’s yet to become boring. Hyland is just one of many high profile names joining the miniseries.
