You guys sold us the ticket at a third party site in the name of the NYFF and when we went to the screening, found out that it's some C grade Indian version of film festival, which is called New York Indian Film Festival NYIFF. Lol, I do understand when you make a disaster film you gotta try all these tactics to bring people to watch such flop shows, that's what Bollywood is good at. But please return my time and money coz Ek BANDA IS NOT KAAFI FOR ME.

The story revolves around a minor rape victim fighting against a mighty Baba with thousands of followers. "Sirf Ek Banda" tries to shed light on the problems of our society and the issues related to blind-eyed devotion. Personally, I would have loved it if the story had focused more on the girl's narrative rather than turning it into a total courtroom drama. Nevertheless, the movie is good overall. It will shake you to the core and demonstrate why the POCSO Act is a good legal framework as well.
